98 Judicial Officers Sworn in before the Attorney General of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi

Ninety-eight (98) judicial officers from 4 government agencies in Abu Dhabi were sworn in before His Excellency Ali Mohammed Alblooshi, Attorney General of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, ahead of commencing their duties with regard to administrative offences and violations that fall within their jurisdiction and their competence in accordance with the legislation and regulations in force.

 The swearing-in ceremony took place at the headquarters of Abu Dhabi Judicial Department (ADJD) for the officers who obtained the judicial capacity and who represent 4 governmental agencies, namely the Department of Culture and Tourism, the Department of Economic Development, the Abu Dhabi Quality and Conformity Council, and the Department of Municipalities and Transport.

 On this occasion, H.E. Ali Mohammed Alblooshi said that the decision to grant the judicial capacity officer to the inspectors, in accordance with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of the Presidential Court, and Chairman of Abu Dhabi Judicial Department, supports the endeavours to boost the competitiveness of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi by ensuring the quality of services provided in all sectors, aided by the implementation of comprehensive control and continuous monitoring, and the enforcement of control and auditing procedures in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations.

 He pointed out that qualifying and training candidates to obtain the status of judicial officers, in accordance with best practices and approved international standards, is among the list of priorities aimed at achieving justice and preserving rights, while devoting the principles and foundations of monitoring and inspection in the appropriate manner drawn by the law to ensure the proper application of procedures in force in the service sectors.
