The ADJD Organises the 1st Justice Partners Forum to Discuss Legislative Developments and Digital Transformation in Judicial Services

The Abu Dhabi Judicial Department (ADJD) organised the first Justice Partners Forum under the title "Judiciary and Advocacy - Towards Accomplished and International Quality Justice", to discuss the legislative and judicial developments and mechanisms for digital transformation of judicial services in Abu Dhabi courts.

The forum, which was held via videoconference, was attended by a large number of lawyers registered with the Legal Affairs Division of the Judicial Department as well as representatives of law and legal consultancy firms at the national and international levels, reflects the importance of partnering with lawyers as strategic counterparts of the judiciary, and the need to hear their views in the continuous development and improvement of judicial and legal services, in line with the vision of ADJD and the commitment of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Presidential Affairs and Chairman of Abu Dhabi Judicial Department, to achieve an accomplished justice of international quality.

The forum addressed 3 main topics, namely, for the first one, the values, traditions and skills of interaction between the judiciary and lawyers and their professional duties towards the courts and their clients, while the second topic addressed legislative and judicial developments and digital transformation in judicial services, and finally the third one reviewed a number of cases currently being heard in the courts.

The forum emphasised the importance of improving scientific thinking and legal knowledge and their contribution to dealing with new legal provisions, understanding the legal dimensions and developing a balanced approach to resolving new disputes in the context of legislative and judicial developments.
