Abu Dhabi Judicial Academy concludes 5 training programs for 72 inspectors to grant them the status of judicial officers

The Abu Dhabi Judicial Academy concluded 5 separate training courses of the foundational training program for qualification to grant the status of judicial officers to 72 inspectors in 5 government agencies, as part of efforts aimed at developing the capabilities of trainees and providing them with integrated skills to enable them to perform their tasks in accordance with specific legal controls, which contributes to support and developing the activities and works subject to their remit.

The Academy explained that the trainees, who represent 5 government agencies in Abu Dhabi, including the Department of Economic Development, the Department of Community Development, the Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority, the Abu Dhabi Municipality, and the Integrated Transport Center, received a number of lectures and qualifying workshops with a total of 690 hours of training.

The Academy affirmed its commitment, in implementation of the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of the Presidential Court, and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department, to apply international best practices in the field of academic and practical training, and to provide advanced programs that hone the skills and capabilities of trainees, in order to prepare specialized national cadres capable of enhancing institutional performance and improving the quality of services provided, by equipping them with the necessary knowledge and skills in accordance with international best practices.

It pointed out that the program that she is implementing to grant the status of judicial police to inspectors of various government agencies, aims to provide trainees with legislative innovations, knowledge and legal skills that enhance their abilities and give them the necessary legal knowledge to perform their duties in accordance with the specific legal controls for granting judicial police in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, and clarifying the duties that must be adhered to. This will contribute to achieving sustainable development in the management of public utilities, developing activities and businesses subject to control, and advancing the institutional performance of these entities.

The academy added that the rudimentary training program for judicial officers focuses on preparing inspectors familiar with all aspects of judicial and administrative regulations, and the powers of judicial officers in accordance with the regulations and laws in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, and consolidating the principles and foundations of control and auditing by relying on the latest training methodologies in various approved specialized fields, with training linking the practical reality of the case files and procedures for the seizure reports before the public prosecution and the criminal courts.
