The ADJD Receives a Delegation from the Military Justice

The Abu Dhabi Judicial Department (ADJD) received a delegation from the Executive Department of military justice from the Ministry of Defense, to discuss ways of developing cooperation and exchange of experience and knowledge in the field of legal training in order to consolidate the foundations of justice and the rule of law.

Mr. Ahmad Ibrahim Al Marzouqi, Executive Director of the Administrative Support Sector at the ADJD, welcomed the guest delegation headed by Ahmed Saeed Salem Al Darmaki, President of the Military Misdemeanours Court, and discussed ways and means to strengthen the effective partnership so as to achieve the common aspirations of excellence in the judicial field, in line with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Presidential Affairs, and Chairman of Abu Dhabi Judicial Department, to exchange expertise and experiences with various judicial authorities, in order to achieve integration between the various institutions of the judicial authority in the UAE, and be able to implement the best practices adopted in the field of justice.

On the occasion of this visit, the delegation of the Ministry of Defense was introduced to the mandate of the Abu Dhabi Judicial Academy (ADJA) and its role in qualifying the administrative and judicial control officers in government agencies, the methodology applied to select and qualify trainers and preparing training packages, in addition to the ADJA's experience in judicial training through the Judicial Training Quality Cycles methodology, and the digital and modern technological means used in the field of training

The guest delegation was also informed about the services of the Central Library, which maintains an extensive collection of titles in law and legal sciences, and databases including federal and local laws, as well as judgments rendered by the Cassation Court.

The guests of the Judicial Department also viewed a number of awareness-raising films that embody the Department's message in its interaction with society to enshrine a legal culture among individuals, and to support its efforts to educate, raise awareness and achieve its qualitative objectives by consolidating knowledge and improving respect for the law, thereby ensuring the protection of society from criminal manifestations and their potential negative corollaries, in addition to other productions focusing on the presentation of the newly enacted or amended laws and the on the ADJD’s smart services.

At the end of the visit, Mr. Ahmad Al Marzouqi exchanged shields and souvenirs with the head of the visiting delegation, Mr. Ahmed Saeed Salem Al Darmaki.
