The ADJA Concludes a Training Programme for 75 Inspectors Applying for the Judicial Officer Capacity

The Abu Dhabi Judicial Academy (ADJA) has concluded a specialised qualifying training programme to grant judicial officer capacity to a new batch of inspectors from government agencies in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, totalling 75 trainees, as part of the efforts to prepare specialised national cadres capable of improving institutional performance and enhancing the quality of services provided, by giving them the necessary knowledge and skills in line with international best practices.

The Academy explained that the trainees, who represent a number of government agencies in Abu Dhabi, including the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development (ADDED), the Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT) and the Integrated Transport Centre (ITC), received 318 lectures during the training programme, for a total of 612 hours of training.

The Abu Dhabi Judicial Academy affirmed its commitment, in accordance with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Presidential Affairs and Chairman of Abu Dhabi Judicial Department (ADJD), to apply international best practices in academic and practical training. 

During the training programme, the Academy endeavoured to provide the trainees with legal knowledge and skills in order to build their capacity and enable them to acquire the necessary knowledge to perform their duties in accordance with the provisions of Law No. 6 of 2022 on the Regulation of Judicial Officer Capacity in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, which sets out the duties and tasks of the judicial officer that must be complied with, so as to contribute to the development of the activities and companies subject to their control and to improve the institutional performance of these entities.

The training programme is based on the integration of practical and theoretical training, which helps to develop the capabilities of the inspectors and to provide them with the basic skills to ensure the effective performance of their work and to contribute to the maintenance of public order and to prevent offences as part of their prevention and development role, which is the main task of the judicial officer.
